نشرت منظمة الإنارة والمدن الدولية (LUCI) مقالاً خاصاً حول تميز وإنجاز كهرباء الخليل في مجال إنارة الشوارع، وذلك بعد تأهل مشروعها المتعلق بإنارة شارع بئر حرم الرامة ضمن القائمة المختصرة (Shortlist) لجائزة LUCI Cities & Lighting Awards للعام 2026، لتكون كهرباء الخليل الجهة العربية الوحيدة المتأهلة ضمن قائمة المرشحين لهذه الدورة. ويأتي هذا الإنجاز تقديراً لتميز المشروع، الذي ركّز على إبراز البعد التاريخي والحضاري والبيئي للمنطقة، من خلال تنفيذ نظام إنارة حديث وموفّر للطاقة يعتمد على تقنيات (LED) حديثة.

وأكد مدير عام كهرباء الخليل، الأستاذ حازم النتشة، أن هذا الإنجاز يمثل إنجازاً لكافة مواطني مدينة الخليل، ولجميع الموظفين والفرق الفنية، وخصوصاً فرق الإنارة التي عملت على تنفيذ المشروع رغم التحديات المختلفة، مشيراً إلى أن هذا النجاح يعكس رؤية المؤسسة في تطوير قطاع الإنارة العامة وفق أفضل المعايير العالمية.

كما أشاد مدير دائرة الصيانة والتشغيل، المهندس محمد التميمي، بهذا الإنجاز، مؤكداً أن المشروع يحمل أثراً بيئياً واجتماعياً واقتصادياً ملموساً، من خلال تقليل استهلاك الطاقة والانبعاثات الكربونية، وتحسين السلامة المرورية.بدوره، وجّه مسؤول الإنارة، الأستاذ علاء الدميري، الشكر والتقدير للطواقم الفنية والهندسية العاملة، مثمناً جهودهم المتواصلة في تعزيز مشاريع الإنارة وتطويرها ضمن منطقة الامتياز.

من جهتها، أعربت مسؤولة التعاون الدولي والترجمة، الأستاذة عبير الناظر، عن فخرها بهذا التميز، مشيرةً إلى أن كهرباء الخليل ستواصل العمل على إعداد ورفع المزيد من مقترحات المشاريع النوعية، التي من شأنها وضع مدينة الخليل على قوائم دولية جديدة، وتعزيز حضورها في المحافل الدولية والعالمية.

ويؤكد هذا الإنجاز التزام كهرباء الخليل بمواصلة تطوير خدماتها ومشاريعها وفق أحدث المعايير العالمية، بما يسهم في تحسين جودة الحياة للمواطنين وتعزيز مكانة مدينة الخليل على الخارطة الدولية.

LUCI Association Publishes an Article Highlighting HEPCo’s Excellence in Street Lighting, Honoring Its Exclusive Arab Shortlisting for the 2026 Awards

The International Network of Cities on Urban Lighting(LUCI) has published a special article highlighting the excellence and achievements of Hebron Electric Power Company (HEPCo) in the field of street lighting, following the shortlisting of its Mamre Street (Bir Haram Al-Rameh) lighting project for the LUCI Cities & Lighting Awards 2026. HEPCo is the only Arab entity shortlisted among the finalists for this year’s award. This achievement reflects the project’s outstanding quality, as it focuses on highlighting the historical, cultural and environmental value of the area through the implementation of a modern, energy-efficient lighting system based on advanced LED technology.

HEPCo General Manager, Mr. Hazem Al-Natsheh, confirmed that this achievement represents a success for all citizens of Hebron, as well as for HEPCo staff and technical teams—especially the lighting teams—who implemented the project despite various challenges. He noted that this success reflects the HEPCo’s vision of developing public lighting in accordance with the highest international standards.

Eng. Mohammad Al-Tamimi, Director of the Maintenance and Operation Department, praised this accomplishment, where the project has tangible environmental, social, and economic impacts by reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions, and improving road safety. In turn, Mr. Alaa Al-Domiri, Lighting Officer, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the technical and engineering teams, commending their continuous efforts to enhance and develop lighting projects within the concession area.

For her part, Ms. Abeer AlNazer, Head of the International Cooperation and Translation Section, expressed pride in this distinction, noting that HEPCo will continue preparing and submitting more high-quality project proposals that will place Hebron on new international platforms and strengthen its presence in global forums.

This achievement reaffirms HEPCo’s commitment to continuously improving its services and projects in line with the latest international standards, contributing to a better quality of life for citizens and enhancing Hebron’s position on the global map.
